Capital Equipment & Manufacturing Upgrade At Titeflex Corporation
SPRINGFIELD, MA - June 14, 2000
Titeflex Commercial Products, a division of Dowty Tubular Systems, is pleased to announce that its parent company, London based TI Group PLC, will make a multi-million dollar investment in the Springfield, MA facility. The focus of this investment will further expand Titeflex’s state of the art Teflon® hose manufacturing processes.
Capital equipment expenditures and facilities improvements have started and will continue through the first half of 2001. This significant investment will ensure that Titeflex Corporation continues to provide the highest quality Teflon® hose products to its diverse customer base worldwide.
Commenting on this new investment, Bob Burns, President of Dowty Tubular Systems, said: “We are excited by the commitment TI Group has made in supporting Titeflex. This is a significant investment, one that will keep us at the forefront of hose fabrication technology, and will support our future growth objectives. Over the next nine months, Titeflex will establish a “state-of-the-art” Hose Manufacturing Facility, which will further enhance the performance and quality of products we offer to our Industrial customers”.
